Executive MBA

Meet the Associate Dean for Executive Education

Thank you for considering the University of Illinois' Executive MBA program. Our program is designed to accommodate you and your demanding schedule. Our classrooms are conveniently located in downtown Chicago, near Union Station and across from the Sears Tower. The alternating weekend format allows you to balance the stress you face in your work life with the demands of your home life.

A key question you may be asking is why an Executive MBA and why ILLINOIS. Business today requires that you not only have the vision of leadership, but the pragmatic ability to accomplish work in demanding and diverse team environments. At ILLINOIS, you will live and learn in an environment where decisions are made with incomplete information, yet where the challenge of managing projects to completion and on time remains.

Our demanding program is designed to bring a balanced perspective of both principles and practice to the classroom. Whether it is study time between classes, outside speakers or learning from the great experiences of your fellow class-mates, the total experience of an MBA is critical to your learning success - an experience with which we take great pride.

Without a doubt, we live and work in a global economy. By far, one of the most interesting and unique aspects you will learn about ILLINOIS is how we treat this critical aspect. We incorporate global learning through an international consulting experience. It is a major component of your degree which starts well before you set foot on an airplane.

As a graduate myself of this fine College, welcome aboard to the University of Illinois!
